The 2010 Edition of our copyrighted course, “Tubular Heat Exchanger, Inspection, Maintenance and Repair is now available for purchase on media. Viewers should be aware that the course notes are based on the book, “Tubular Exchanger Inspection, Maintenance and Repair”, by Carl F. Andreone, P.E., Fellow of the ASME and Stanley Yokell, P.E., Fellow of the ASME and published by McGraw-Hill in 1997. The book is currently available for purchase from major book stores.

    Thank you for your general comment that you need information about heat exchangers. There are so many different kinds of heat exchangers and so many different uses for them that there is no simple answer except to suggest that you look into published texts on heat exchangers. I recommend starting with Kern’s book Process Heat Transfer, John Wiley, 1957 and some of the other widely used publications, for example the TEMA Standards, 8th Ed, Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association, Tarrytown, NY. 2008. A better starting point would be to purchase the media with the course, Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchangers-Mechanical Aspects advertized on our website.
